    Metal stamping can be hot or cold. At TYRSA we use the cold stamping system with mechanical presses. The most common types of cold stamping are: simple stamping (with a single stroke of the press), progressive stamping (multiple sequential operations on a sheet), and double-acting or coaxial stamping.

    Stamping is applied in industries such as automotive, electronics, household appliances, among others, but we can find stamping parts in any industrial sector, for example in engines, car components, carpentry, electronic circuits...
  • What are the advantages of metal stamping?
    It offers high precision, fast production, lower costs at high volumes, the ability to work with various materials and the ability to create complex shapes.
  • What materials can be stamped?
    A wide variety of metals can be stamped, including steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper (both DHP and ETP), brass, bronzes, nickel silver, beryllium alloys and other specialty alloys depending on the properties required for the final part. In addition, other materials such as plastics, fiber, polypropylene or nylon can also be printed. We can also work with tapes that have previous electrolytic coatings, either completely or selectively.

    Die cutting is a more general term that includes the stamping process, but can also refer to specific cutting or punching operations without necessarily forming the part.
